WOW.

First of all — We are STILL in awe of this community and all that was done. We not only reached our goal of $50,000 for our 2nd Annual Spinathon, but we also surpassed it! We owe a HUGE thank you to every person, team and business that donated and raised awareness for this event.

For those of you who are just popping in — we’ll give you the details… Last year we wanted to create an event that was not only meaningful to our community, but would also give back to the community. So we held our 1st Annual Spinathon. An event where riders would join a team of four and spin for 12 hours… yep, we said it… 12 HOURS! We chose to raise money for the Maine Cancer Foundation. A foundation ‘dedicated to reducing cancer incidence and mortality rates in Maine’ where ‘100% of the funds [raised] are invested back into our communities to benefit the people of Maine’. The excitement we felt from MCF and our riders was incredible and we were able to raise $25,000 our first year.

Insert 2021 and our 2nd Annual Spinathon!

Our team planned for MONTHS on how to raise even more awareness for the MCF and how to double our fundraising effort’s from the previous year. We knew we could count on our community of riders and local businesses to help us spread the word, but the support we received was more than we could have ever imagined. Today, we are proud to say, that we have over 75 local businesses and HUNDREDS of participants to thank for their effort’s in this year’s Spinathon. This community was able to raise a total of $52,298 for the Maine Cancer Foundation.

We are absolutely amazed at the resilience, the support and the love that every person has shown us. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to be a part of this community and we cannot wait to see what our 3rd Annual Spinathon brings!
